First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling online or at physical casinos for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a short period of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you are just having a blast until you decide to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you feel queasy in your stomach and the harder you try the faster you are deprived.
When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan hardly ever operates. Say you’re betting on slot games, have an amount put aside before beginning your play. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not spend your successes no matter what. Once you’ve played through your original set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it’s on the net or at a land based betting house, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.
Remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
