A further large Amerindian gambling hall is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 sq.ft., 668 slot machines, and fourteen table games. Furthermore, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is open 24 hours, with 38,500 square feet, 1,589 slots, 36 table games, and 4 restaurants. There are several other popular Iowa casinos, which includes Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling hall is the Diamond Jo, a river boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend Riverboat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river boat casino, The Isle of Capri, is open all hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. paddle wheel boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday twenty-one events.
Iowa casinos offer a great amount of tax revenue to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the budgeting of a lot of commonwealth wide activities. Tourism has increased at a fast percentage accompanied with the requirement for companies and an increase in employment. Iowa gambling halls have been instrumental to the growth of the market, and the excitement for gaming in Iowa is across the board.
